Mosquito Lagoon's designated paddling trails extend from Callalisa Park in New Smyrna Beach to point five miles below Turtle Mound in the Canaveral National Seashore. The distance, one way, is more than 15 miles, but the route also includes a number of internal loops. Besides Callalisa Park, launch sites include Indian River Lagoon Park in New Smyrna Beach, Menard-May Park in Edgewater, Volusia County's Mary McLeod Bethune Park, Turtle Moun Boat Ramp in Canaveral National Seashore, and Riverbreeze Park in Oak Hill.
