Lake Beresford Park-on the east shore of a widening in the St. Johns River-is a favorite of trail users. Opened in 2007, its paved 1.8-mile multipurpose path circles some of the public lands and connects to Volusia County's major Spring-to-Spring Trail, where visitors can walk, bike or skate three miles south to Blue Spring State Park.
