Celebrate National Public Lands Day with Lyonia Environmental Center on the Explore Volusia Eco-buggy!
The Volusia County Explore Volusia program and Lyonia Environmental Center invite you to hop on the newly renovated eco-buggy and celebrate National Public Lands Day. We'll tour Lyonia Preserve and its unique Florida scrub habitat and discuss the plants and animals that survive in this arid environment.
** Important note: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to complete a waiver. Waivers must be completed in full to participate in the program.
ACTIVITY: The tour will take place on a hay-ride style, covered trailer with benches. There will be some easy, short walks as well.
RESERVATIONS: Required. Unless you have a confirmation email, you are not registered.
TICKETS: No printed ticket is necessary.
AGES: All ages are welcome.
ATTIRE: closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing for the outdoors
WHAT TO BRING: water, sunscreen, and bug spray
FACILITIES: There are bathrooms on site.
