Central Park - Phase I & II
(City of Ormond Beach)

A combination of four parks intermingled with neighborhoods, Central Park totals a little over 149 acres. It offers active and passive pursuits in a beautiful natural environment. Visitors can play basketball and tennis; jog along the G.F. Althouse Trail; or simply watch nature from one of the many observation decks scattered along four of the park's five lakes. Another feature added in 2009 and funded by the community is the labyrinth. Designed for meditation, it's 50 feet in diameter, made of concrete, and coated with durable acrylic. The city would eventually like to add an Environmental Learning Center.
