Opened in 2007, Barkley Square Dog Park is owned and operated by Volusia County. It provides 14 acres for dogs to run and play freely, while offering shade and benches for dog owners. The park is divided into three sections. Small and large dogs each get their own area, and there is a place to train or take a break. A pond is in the section designated for large dogs; small dogs are welcome to enter at their own risk. The park has a coin-operated automatic dog wash, and doggie bags are provided onsite. Thirty-eight parking spaces are available.
