Silver Sands Bridle Club was formed in 1948 as the Volusia County Quarter Running Horse Association. Today the club has more than 300. The facility includes a covered 250' by 120' arena with 100 stalls, two outdoor riding arenas, round pen, and 26 electrical hookups.

The facility is available for rent to other horse clubs or related events.
