Sperling Sports complex is one of DeLand’s main active-sports facilities for players who range from beginners to experienced tournament teams. Sperling is the home DeLand High School JV & Varsity Soccer, JV Football and Cross Country. It also houses the DeLand City Parks and Recreation outdoor youth sports as well as Adult Softball and Kickball. Dedicated in 1987, it is named after DeLand’s first Parks and Recreation Department director, Thomas W. Sperling.

• Three full sized softball fields
• Two batting cages
• Press box tower
