NEW SMYRNA BEACH FLAMINGO 5K BEACH RUN

Event Come kick off your New Year at the 2016 Flamingo 5K Beach Run at the Flagler Avenue Beach Approach in New Smyrna Beach! In addition to the ceremonial Unlocking of the Ocean at 8:30am and the special Florida version of the polar bear plunge, the Flamingo Flop, at 10:00am, this 5K race, like no other, starts at 9am and takes place along our beautiful hard-packed beaches.

Runners, walkers, and joggers are welcome to participate in this chip-timed race, with registration starting at 8am, and race start at 9am. Medals in 84 categories and two overall plaques will be awarded, as well as prizes for the best costumes, so be sure to break out the pink feathers!

Race proceeds benefit Southern Stone Charities so bring your friends and family out to celebrate 2015 New Smyrna Beach style!
